The Chips

Agarwood chips are the original way to experience oud, long before distillation, the wood itself was burned as incense across the Middle East, Japan, and Southeast Asia. A tradition spanning thousands of years.

Our Kalimantan chips are hand-selected for resin density. Each piece is dark, heavy, and saturated with aromatic resin. When heated, they release a rich, sweet, woody smoke that fills a room within seconds.

Unlike oud oil, chips give you the full raw agarwood experience, unprocessed, unfiltered, primal. Place a small piece on an electric burner or charcoal and let the smoke do the rest.

How to Burn

Electric burner: Place a small chip on the plate, set to medium heat. The smoke builds slowly, and this is the gentlest method, best for prolonged sessions.

Charcoal: Light a charcoal disc, let it ash over. Place a chip directly on top. Intense, immediate smoke, the traditional Middle Eastern method.

How Much to Use

A single chip (0.5-1g) is enough for a room. Start small, you can always add more. 10g will last weeks of regular use. These are not decorative, they are dense with resin.

Origin

Sourced from Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. The agarwood is harvested from naturally infected Aquilaria trees. Each chip carries the unique character of its source tree, no two are identical.

Storage

Store in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight. Oud chips maintain their potency for years. In fact, aged agarwood is often more prized than fresh. Your purchase appreciates with time.
