Terms of Sale
These terms apply to all purchases made on woudya.com. By placing an order, you accept the conditions below.
The products
Woudya sells artisanal oud oil, agarwood chips, and oud-based fragrance compositions. The oud oil products are sold as natural aromatic materials, not as cosmetics. The fragrance compositions are sold as ambient and textile compositions, not as cosmetic products. All disclaimers on individual product pages apply.
Pricing
Prices are shown in euros (EUR), inclusive of any applicable EU VAT for EU customers. Non-EU customers may be subject to import duties and local taxes upon delivery, which are not included in our prices.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. Accepted methods include major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Klarna where available in your country. Woudya does not store payment details.
Shipping
- Orders are dispatched from France within 1 to 2 business days.
- France: tracked, €7.00, complimentary from 2 ml of oil or €100, 2 to 3 business days.
- European Union, Switzerland and United Kingdom: tracked, €11.05, complimentary from 2 ml of oil or €100, 3 to 7 business days.
- Outside Europe: tracked international, €30.00 or €45.00 by destination, complimentary from €200, 5 to 15 business days; no shipping to the United States at the moment.

- Risk of loss transfers to the buyer at delivery. Tracking is provided by email.
Right of return
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you, or a person you name, receive the product, without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights).
To use this right of withdrawal, tell us before the 14 days end, by email to [email protected] with your order number. One clear sentence is enough. You can also withdraw online in two steps: withdraw from contract here. You may also use this model: « I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods: [product], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name, address, date. »
Return the product within 14 days of telling us. The direct cost of returning it is yours. We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the payment method of your order. We may hold the refund until the product is back with us or you have sent proof of dispatch.
If a product was sealed at delivery and the seal has been broken, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to it, for health protection and hygiene reasons (Article 16(e) of the Directive). Otherwise, you are liable only for any loss of value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature of the product.
Defects and complaints
If a product arrives damaged or does not match its description, the legal guarantee of conformity applies. Write to [email protected] with photos of the damaged product, ideally within 7 days of delivery so that we can file a claim with the carrier. We replace the product at no cost to you; if replacement is not possible, we refund it in full, delivery included.

Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in the buyer's country of residence.
