Oud oil: 1 ml or 5 ml?
Short answer
Take 1 ml to discover an oud, 5 ml once you know you like it. At Woudya, 1 ml of Origins costs €45, plus €11.05 tracked delivery to the EU (€56.05 in total); 5 ml costs €215 with free delivery, so €43 per ml.

How many drops
A standard pharmacopoeia dropper delivers 20 drops of water per gram, so about 20 drops per millilitre. 2 Oil forms drops of a different size, so read this as an order of magnitude: about 20 drops in 1 ml, about 100 in 5 ml. With one micro-drop per wearing, a bottle lasts longer than its drop count.
Which one to choose
Start with 1 ml if you have never worn this grade: the cost of a disappointment stays small. Move to 5 ml once you know the profile suits you: delivery is already free from 2 ml of oil in Europe, and the price per ml drops.
