What is oud?

Oud, also called agarwood, is one of the most prized aromatic materials in the world. It forms when aquilaria trees produce a dark, fragrant resin. Woudya works directly with distillation partners in Southeast Asia to extract pure oud oil through steam distillation.

Is Woudya oud oil pure?

Yes. Our oud oil is undiluted and alcohol-free. Nothing is added: no synthetic filler, no blending with other oils.

What is the difference between Origins, Heritage, and Reserve?

Origins (Grade A) comes from Lombok, Indonesia, with dark resin and leather notes, at 45 EUR per ml. Heritage (Grade AA) comes from Kalimantan, Indonesia, with a deeper dark-brown complexity, at 90 EUR per ml. Reserve (Grade AAA) is our top grade, from Kalimantan Premium, at 129 EUR per ml, with the most intense depth and longevity.

What about the Oud Chips and the Oud Signature Spray?

Oud Chips (9 EUR per gram) are agarwood pieces meant to be gently heated for their natural aroma. The Oud Signature Spray (149 EUR) is an alcohol-based fragrance composition for ambient and textile use. It is not a cosmetic product and is not intended for use on skin.

Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?

All orders are dispatched from France within 1 to 2 business days. Within the EU, delivery is tracked and takes 3 to 5 business days for €11.05, complimentary from 2 ml of oil or €100. Outside Europe, tracked international shipping takes 5 to 15 business days and is complimentary from €200, except to the United States, where we cannot ship at the moment. What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, and Klarna where available in your country. Woudya never stores your payment details.

Can I return a product?

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of delivery. Contact us at [email protected] within that period. A product whose seal has been broken can no longer be returned, for hygiene reasons; a damaged or non-conforming product is always replaced or refunded, delivery included. Do you have a physical store?

No. Woudya is an online-only shop at woudya.com. Every order is bottled and shipped from France.
